Marcin Wyrostek & Coloriage

The studio album recorded by Coloriage in MAQ Records.

"Coloriage" means "to colour, to paint" in French. This term reflects the band's music which is daring, full of emotions, multicoloured. The musicians present their own arrangements of classical compositions and jazz standards. They also draw their inspiration from folk music. The record takes the listeners on musical voyage to regions that are home to Balkan, Hungarian, Gypsy, Jewish and Latin American music. Apart from well-known pieces like "Libertango" or "Besame mucho", the record also features Coloriage's own compositions.

  • Coloriage - Richard Galliano
  • Viaggio - Richard Galliano
  • Besame mucho - Consuel Velazquez
  • Tango for Alice - Marcin Wyrostek
  • Qwerty - Marcin Wyrostek

Marcin Wyrostek & Tango Corazon Quintet - Live

Two years after publishing the début "Magia del Tango," we are pleased to present our next record - "Magia - LIVE". The music was recorded at three concerts: in Jelenia Góra (23 April 2010), Warsaw (02 February 2011) and Busko Zdrój (08 July 2011).

We were inspired to publish the live record when we listened to the recorded concerts that were emotional, original and magical because of the presence of the audience. The concert recordings differ from studio ones as when we perform on stage we are faced with the listeners. The stress of performing live adds adrenalin, the artists interact with the spectators and all those elements affect the way we play, we construct phrases and tension... We would like to give you just a glimpse of the energy and "magic" that we share with the audience at live concerts.

Triu
Beltaine

"Triu" which means "The Third." Despite the fact that the title derives from Gaelic, the third record in the history of Beltaine escapes the constraints of Celtic music, to an even greater extend than the first two albums. Irish and Breton music constitutes only a base for venturing into direction of a more contemporary musical genres.

Beltaine's third album proves that the musicians are rather unorthodox as regards the set phrases and are able to play with the music and experiment with the sound. Apart from traditional Irish and Breton tunes, the record captures elements of funk or even hip-hop.
